Artificial intelligence is reshaping nearly every dimension of how we live — how we work, how we learn, how we access care, and increasingly, how we connect with one another. This conversation brings together leaders at the intersection of technology, public health, and public policy to examine AI’s growing role in our social lives and what it means for the millions of Americans already experiencing loneliness and isolation. Speakers will explore how AI is being designed and deployed across the lifespan, who benefits and who is left behind, and what guardrails, investments, and innovations are needed to ensure that artificial intelligence becomes a force for human connection rather than a substitute for it.

This panel discussion will anchor our agenda, bringing together leaders from across the sectors that shape social connection in American life — health, education, workforce, the built environment, arts and culture, nutrition, and research. Together, panelists will explore what a cross-sector policy agenda looks like in practice: where the opportunities for alignment are greatest, what barriers stand in the way, and what it will take to ensure durable systems change.

The Action Network and Artist For Action® have launched Come Together, a national, multi-year initiative leveraging music, creativity, and policy action to address the growing crisis of social isolation and loneliness. 

Join Come Together’s Founding Co-Chairs and new Ambassador, alongside the Foundation for Social Connection Leadership, for an engaging and personal discussion about loneliness, healing through the arts, and how music is a powerful tool to bring generations together.
